Weddings in India are elaborate and celebrated with great fervour. The same enthusiasm is shared by the newlyweds while planning their honeymoons. With yet another wedding season around the corner, travel agents can find promising opportunities to plan and sell travel options to enthused honeymooners.

Why Honeymoon?

Honeymoons are almost ritualistic to an Indian wedding, with couples and their families willingly investing a fortune to ensure a joyful trip. If you are someone who has spent a couple of years in the travel industry already know what honeymooners bring to the plate.

The Challenge

A deadly virus and a year-long lockdown might have encouraged some couples to opt for a more grand approach towards their once-in-a-lifetime experience. New trends like mini-moons, early moons and more seem to interest the young travellers. Young couples are now open to experimental travel destinations.

However, the pandemic has changed the way people perceive travel. The growing reluctance to travel due to safety regulations, migration guidelines and unpredictable lockdowns has become a real challenge. As agents, you need to navigate through the challenge and help your clients in planning the trip of their dreams.

To make things easier for you, Here’s a list of Honeymoon destinations to look out for this year:
