How to pitch Seychelles to your customer

World’s Best Beaches

Made up of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles are a beach lover’s paradise. Every beach reveals yet another stretch of sugar-white sand, backed by lush tropical jungle and lapped by crystal-clear waters.

The most famous is Anse Source d’Argent, with its distinct granite boulders and Hollywood looks. Regularly named the most beautiful beach in the world, and the ‘star’ in movies like Castaway and Crusoe, you’ll find it on the island of La Digue.

Witness its surprising wildlife

Wildlife lovers and birdwatchers will adore the Seychelles. The islands are home to the world’s smallest frog and some of its biggest tortoises, as well as 12 endemic species of birds.

For example, the Aldabra giant tortoise is native to the Seychelles and is one of the largest tortoises anywhere in the world. You can find them roaming free on islands like Cousin and Curieuse, as well as on islands like Mahe and Praslin.

World class diving

The Seychelles offers some of the most diverse diving in the world. From coral gardens just offshore, to wildlife-rich deep-water wrecks, there is something for every diver. The best time to dive the Seychelles is April, October or November when the seas are calm and you can dive with sharks and manta rays.

Vallée de Mai in Praslin

It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains an incredible range of flora and fauna. It is highly protected since it is only one of two places in the world where the coco de mer palm is found naturally.

Bird-lovers in particular would adore this nature reserve since there are a large variety of spectacular winged creatures to be seen, such as the Seychelles Bulbul and the endangered Black Parrot. When it comes to the latter, there are less than nine hundred left in the wild.
